Overview

Can a normal person enter the presence of Christ or is that something that only happened for biblical characters? Maybe that question leads you to ask "What does it even mean to be in Jesus' presence?" In How to Worship Jesus Christ, Joseph Carroll explains what it means to enter Christ's presence and that it is something available to every Christian - through true worship.

There is much more to truly worshipping Jesus than simply church services and personal devotions. True worship requires complete commitment of emotions, intellect, and will, but the reward is great. Carroll points the reader into the presence of Christ by teaching practical steps of personal worship. He also draws on the habits and experiences of some of history's greatest saints to serve as examples and guides.

This deeply practical and personal book will help you know Jesus more intimately on a daily basis. It will draw readers close to Christ in a real way, to experience His presence, and to worship Him in ways far better than what most imagine to be possible.

Wonderously Remindful Of How We Are To Live!

I was given this book in Seminary in NC 10 years ago and I was awestruck that I was supposidly so gifted and yet I realized I had fallen short of My True Love... I left Seminary and began my true journey with our Lord after reading this book. I have since then given copies of this book to many people, encouraging them to draw close to Our Savior. If you allow the stories and thoughts in this book to be taken to your heart and not to your mind, you might find yourself in Love with Him again ...Pray that God may touch you through His Spirit before reading one page of this book and you will see why this book was written.

Worship taught from a heart that has obviously done it many times

Joseph Carroll has written a classic on the subject of worship. His writing gives evidence that he has a regular, deep and abiding personal worship. In the book he uses much scripture to instruct the believer desirous of learning the definition as well as the 'nuts and bolts' of worship. There is a wonderful chapter that tells the reader how worship worked in and impacted the lives of some of the great preachers and missionaries in the past century. If worship usually means a mood or style of music to you then you need to read this book and examine your thinking in light of the teachings of the Scripture.
