Ever wanted someone to do something with you and they didn¿t do it your way? Emma discovers that Howie (and their love for each other) is WAY more important than a ruined Tea Party. My granddaughters (4 and 6 years old) giggle through this whole book, especially when Howie LICKS the cookies on the plate! What a relief to know that someone loves you for who you are! Bright, cheerful, fun illustrations, too. Lots to talk about in the pictures. Fun for kids, very insightful for grown-ups! PS: There is a real Howie! I found pictures and stories about him at its-howie.comWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Howie is innocently making a mess of poor Emma's tea party. Emma's trying to keep it together and realizes in the end that it doesn't matter if things don't go exactly as they seem, all that matters is that you have fun and be yourself. Was this review helpful?
