    Great Story told with Compassion and Humor... Kudos!

    Beverly Rae delivers a Great story about Love... The Love of Family and the love of a Good Strong, hunky Man err Wolf...
    Raised as the daughter of a Shifter Hunter (someone who HUNTS and KILLS Were Creatures, Mainly Were-Wolves...) she HATES what her "FATHER" does and while she Tries to placate him by learning about guns and all that she can't stand what he and his friends do. She has always felt like she was different from her family but has no clue why! She meets and falls in love with a Were-Wolf and after he bites her, she stars the natural transition but they can't figure out WHY she seems to be transforming so FAST. The ending brings about MANY Answers and revelations.

    This is a Great Story that is at Times Poignant, Funny and Heart Wrenching!
    If you are a Lover of the "Shifter" Genre I HIGHLY Recommend this Book!

    Fun Read

    This was a cute, fun story. Not only were the situations off-the-wall but Beverly Rae did a great job using the secondary character, Benjy, to make the story funny. I laughed so hard that I cried at some of Benjy's antics and interaction with the main characters.

    Don't waste your time

    The writing is awful, where was the editor.
    I tried, but, I couldn't through a quarter of the book.
    At least it was free.

    Hilarious twist on a werewolf book

    Okay, this book isn't for everyone. The werewolves aren't your typical werewolves and the heroine isn't going to swoon into the hero's arms. But if you're looking for a book that's fun, fast and hilarious, then this is it. The other books in the series, DANCE ON THE WILDE SIDE and RUNNING WITH THE PACK are even better. Ms. Rae also writes other shifter books that are comedies and they're terrific too. Check out WILD CAT. Just my .02.

    I loved the humor, the characters, and the drama. Benjy is fabbbbulous. Jason is sexy, and Sydney Skellar is a truly entertaining character. Highly recommended!.

    Cute Story~ Needs more EDITING!

    Cute story that has potential but still needs lots of editing. Much of the writing was cute but I often felt that noone had read it to see how it sounded or if it made sense. I really feel that a strong editor could have made this book excellent instead of just OK. I also felt like the story glossed over some parts while going into way too much deatil in others. Enjoyed the love story but wished the author had more to say about the two main characters and less about the surronding add-ins. With a good editor a rewrite could be Cute and Funny, and not repetitive and slow in parts like it is now.

    Glad it was free...

    It was an ok read, but the carefree attitude of Jason once he found his mate annoyed me. If I would have found out that my new "spouses" family was a hunter of my kind I would not have handled it very well at all. Im less than half way through right now and Im not even sure that I want to finish the book. This is a book for people who dont think. I think. And there as been too much non awkward sex. When I sleep with someone for the first time, it was pretty serious. Not much room for playfulness and joking around...Maybe Im just strange that way but Id rather have the first time hot and steamy and not a lot of funny stuff. The guy on the cover is cute though I hate the hooker boots and shorts....

    barely coherent

    so glad its free... lacked logic.. for example why are shifters and hunters so lacksadasial with the secret of shifters? characters in the book just say things about werewolves without even caring who is around... the mom never really explained how she knew about the friends granddaughter and the shifter... really had a hard time getting the whole rambling point of it all... and what really happened during the visit to the medium in the beginning if what the book provides about her/him at the end is true? so lost will not re-read... :( just gave it a 3 since it was free and there were a few interesting nuggets sprinkled throughout
