I think that the text is acurrate and is very solid subjectwise. One of the outstanding features of the text are its charts and graphics. They are well thought out and nicely done.

I liked the chronological perspective it develops moving from how we study the past, what we have learned of the past and what we see today. This presents humans and our ancestors as a continuum of changes. This approach shows the dynamic intersection of biology and culture which is a aspect I am always striving to emphasize to my students.
