Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Wendy Pollock-Gilson
Poor Mouse! After visiting his town cousin, mouse has a series of misadventures while going home to the country. What mouse does not know, and young children will delight in seeing from the illustrations, is that each accident saves him from an unseen predator. He crashes into a hole in the meadow, causing the hawk to fall into the ground. He tries to rest on a thistle and while he pulls thorns from his fur, a snake gets a mouthful of thistles. Preschoolers will especially enjoy knowing more than mouse.
