    Bottoms up! Another winner in a tasty series

    Perfect for those watching their weight, this tiny cookbook specializes in cocktails and party foods. It's the most recent in a series of best-selling Hungry Girl cookbooks focusing on healthy, low-cal recipes written and presented with a humorous flair. There's no seriousness behind the recipes for Pumpkin Pie-tini, My Oh Mai Ti or Buff Chick Hot Wing Dip. Each of the 75 recipes includes the calorie count; amounts of sodium, fat, carbs, fiber, protein and sugars; number of servings; ingredients and clear directions. Alas, only a few photos show the finished creations. Before the recipes begin, the introduction includes a list of things to have on hand (such as a blender, shaker and corkscrew), a list of things to know (such as what types of alcohol to use in the cocktails, and how to make the recipes with no alcohol) and a list of recommended products to have on hand (such as diet cranberry juice drink and fat-free vanilla ice cream). I've enjoyed every one of these cookbooks, and every dish I've tried has been light and tasty. I look forward to many more in this fun series. Here's the chapter list: Introduction 1.
