    HIghly recommended

The title of this book is Hunter by J.A. Hunter.
The characters are John Hunter,(a professional hunter), native spearmen and bowmen, the clients, and Mrs. Hunter.
The setting is in Africa in the 1940’s. He goes to many places in Africa and makes many friends in the native tribes. Some of his hunts include hunting elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and warthogs. Most of his hunts where successful, but all of them where dangerous. He hunted with a rifle, but his native helpers used spears and bows for their hunting.
John was raised in Ireland until he was about 14 then his parents sent him to Africa to live with his uncle. The difference between these climates are very different and I think it would be hard to adapt to the climate.
My favorite parts where when John was elephant and rhino hunting.
I would recommend this book to people because it has exciting parts and hunting is something my friends and I enjoy. I also like the book because it was a true story.

One of the Best I have ever read.

This is an outstanding book that will keep you glued to your chair with book in hand. It is about the way of old Africa, Great White Hunter, Safari, and much more. It is not just Killing animals, it has lots of stories that will keep you reading. Never a dull moment. I have the book borrowed from a friend. Can't wait till the new printing to get my own copy.
