I am Hunter, a student at Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama

This book is an autobiography of Michael Waddell. He shares about his childhood and his first hunting experiences as a child, hunting Booger Bottom, Georgia with his dad, both before and after he lost his mom. Also, Michael tells about how his career began at a very young age, and how he began to get recognized at turkey calling events. One man was particularly impressed, bill Jordan, owner of Realtree Outdoors, he eventually gave Michael a job. He tells many stories about his hunting experiences while filming, and hunting for Realtree, and in his personal life. He went through many things as a child, including his mom dying when he was young, and not being from a very wealthy family.
I really liked this book. One reason I liked it, is because it has to do with something I am very passionate about to say the least. Also, it was good because he always found a way to tie a life lesson in with every story he told about growing up, or hunting professionally. Another reason I liked the book is because he used down home talking. Grammar rules were not always followed during the book, I liked this because it was something different than many other books.

    Hunting Booger Bottom

I bought this book for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. This book really is not intended for younger readers like my 13 year old because of the frequent use of bad ( curse ) words. But it did introduce my son to a place he would like to go one day.
