Kat is a sixteen-year-old vampire, and she's not too happy about it. After an experiment-gone-wrong and a bullet to the heart, she now hungers for human blood, and the worst part about that is the guilt. But guilt isn't the only thing stressing her. Meet the Author

Kelley Armstrong

When librarians finally granted Kelley Armstrong an adult card, she made straight for the epic fantasy and horror shelves. She spent the rest of her childhood and teen years happily roaming fantastical and terrible worlds, and vowed that someday she'd write a story combining swords, sorcery, and the ravenous undead. That story begins with the New York Times bestselling Sea of Shadows.

Armstrong's first works for teens were the New York Times bestselling Darkest Powers and Darkness Rising trilogies. She lives in rural Ontario with her husband, three children, and far too many pets.

    Cute little novella

I love Kelley Armstrong and have read all of her novels, so this was a no brainer when I saw it. I liked it. It reminded me of the second book in the Otherworld series. I would have liked to see how the story plays out.

I love Armstrong"s writing and indulge in it whenever I can

I love Armstrong"s writing and indulge in it whenever I can! That's why when I found out she had released a bunch of novella's I got super excited. This one is one of my favorites (particularly because I am more of a fan of the "Darkest Powers" series) and I love how even though this story isn't lengthy it has a satisfying plot (with a great climax) and amazing character development! Everything you want in a short story is right here, trust me you'll love this one!

    Armstrong delivers

As usual, Kelley Armstrong delivers an entertaining, engrossing page-turner that leaves you wanting to know MORE to have MORE of each and every character. From Marguerite, to Kat, to Neil, to Chad a sampling is just not enough, even an entire novel wouldn't be ENOUGH....because like the Darkest Power series, andthe Women and Men if the Otherworld series each book, each story, each little bit leaves you waiting and HOPING for more....definitely worth it, hope to see Kat and the rest SOON!

Is this supposed to be a DWTS thing?

If so, my fave. couples were Charlie and Sharna and Meryl and Maks. My favorite pro is Karina. Remember when Abby Lee Miller was a guest judge? SHE GAVE SOMEONE AN 8 BECAUSE OF THEIR FEET!!!! I was so disappointed when Charlie got eliminated, he was so good, especially after dancing to "New York, New York"
