"Unstoppable, breath stealing, and terrifying all at once." - Cat Connor, author of killerbyte, terrorbyte, and exacerbyte.

"Hunting Season goes where few venture, mixing a compelling crime thriller with supernatural forces. The action and drama is thick and fast and I guarantee you will not be able to put this book down." - Poppet, author of Seithe and Darkroom.

Editorial Reviews

Big Al's Books & Pals - Big Al
Hunting Season picks up where Vengeance ends. While a minor supernatural element was integral to the story in Vengeance, in Hunting Season it becomes a much bigger part of the story, with many more characters having supernatural powers. Steve William’s propensity to take risks and stretch the rules also increases, as does the body count. Thriller fans should like both, with your personal favorite determined by your taste for the supernatural.
Mi - Carol Langstroth
Sequels are not usually as good as the first book. I am very pleased to say that Hunting Season is as good or even better than Vengeance. I loved the characters in Hunting Season, especially Chris Ryan’s wife and son C.J. I can honestly say that it will be a shame if people don’t read Vengeance and Hunting Season by J.E. Taylor as it’s a fantastic read to escape the bad news of the world.
Two Lips Reviews - Tina T
This mystery drama had me at the first page. It’s an action packed adventure which kept me wanting to find out more.

Meet the Author

J.E. Taylor is a writer, a publisher, an editor, a manuscript formatter, a mother, a wife and a business analyst, not necessarily in that order. She first sat down to seriously write in February of 2007 after her daughter asked:

“Mom, if you could do anything, what would you do?”

From that moment on, she hasn’t looked back and now her writing résumé includes more than half a dozen published novels along with several short stories on the virtual shelves including a few within eXcessica anthologies.

In addition to being co-owner of Novel Concept Publishing (www.novelconceptpublishing), Ms. Taylor also moonlights as a Senior Editor of Allegory (www.allegoryezine.com), an online venue for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. She has been known to edit a book or two and also offers her services judging writing contests for various RWA chapters.

She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children and during the summer months enjoys her weekends on the shore in southern Maine.

Excellent Writer! Excellent series! I just had to keep reading.

Excellent Writer! Excellent series! I just had to keep reading. Once I finished each book, I just had to go on to the next one. They are quite graphic, but most of us who enjoy the thrillers are not surprised by it. I am now going back to the first in the Steve Williams Series, Dark Reckoning, which I missed. Then, I will be reading the Games Trilogy Series which involves the Ryan’s prior to the Steve Williams Series.
