Though Magruder's home is in Nacogdoches---a hundred miles away---he is held there in this little southeast Texas town by the plight of beautiful Hilda Gersemann. Her husband has just been robbed and killed by highwaymen as the couple journeyed from Crocket to Houston. This heinous crime has left the widow devastated and penniless, and Magruder vows to catch the killers and recover the money for the lady. Huntsville is a tale of adventure, intrigue, and romance.
