Features: "The book, through its 16 parts and 108 chapters, covers the entire field of cardiology. New additions to this edition include genetics, new imaging technology, pulmonary hypertension, and advances in interventional cardiology. The ACC/AHA guidelines are emphasized throughout. The book is comprehensive, and at the same time easy to read. For example, chapter 73 deals with congenital heart disease and the use of new (MR, CT) imaging modalities, latest surgical treatments with diagrams, and clear explanations of the altered physiology. In addition, the book has its own Web site where chapters are continually updated as clinical trials are released. "
