Barnes & Noble - Lisa Zhito
Christian music's leading praise & worship outfit turns its sights to the bedrock of the Christian faith with Hymns Ancient & Modern. One could debate whether the world needs another worship collection, but we could certainly use more projects like Hymns, which puts a fresh perspective on an ancient tradition. Performed by an all-star collection of worship leaders and artists (Matt Redman, Dave Crowder Band, Christy Nockels, and Chris Tomlin, to name a few), these are modern arrangements and performances of venerable hymns, some centuries old. Highlights include Crowder's evocative performance of "All Creatures of Our God and King," Charlie Hall's rock 'n' roll ...

You don't have to love traditional worship or church hymns to be moved by this collection.

    Excellent, 10/10

The arrangements are incredible, sound quality excellent and selection very well thought out. Not the usual CD where you have to buy an entire album to get 2-3 good songs. I use it with an IPOD while working out and the music flows perfectly from fast pace to cool down. A must have for a strong worship workout!
