As an author of many books, the author wanted to explore the strange place where many stories begin. Between being awake and being asleep is a state called hypnagogia and it is in that place the author often finds herself. The stories are there, the question is what is fact and what is fiction. The author lives in Montana but has friends and family in several states, especially Utah where she also lived for many years.
