Dr. Mark Starr is board certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the Arizona State Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners.

He has been in private practice since 1996, opening his first pain clinic in Columbia, MO, where he spent 5 years. He then moved his practice to Marietta, GA for the next 7 years. In 2008, he opened a new homeopathic pain and sports medicine clinic in Paradise Valley, AZ.

Dr. Starr is called upon to speak internationally regarding his book, now in its fourth print.

We are in the middle of an epidemic in this country with chronic fatigue, depression, fibromyalgia, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity. All of these are directly related to hypothyroidism. Unfortunately, most doctors have never heard of type 2 hypothyroidism where blood tests are normal but the patient is still quite hypothyroid.
