    Not Patient Friendly

I just scheduled my hysterectomy and was looking for something to help me out other then then web. This book definitely has facts...but it is geared more for the medical staff then the patient. I didn't really think it was worth it.

Very well documented, but not too practical

Very well documented, technically-written, and fact-filled, this book reads more like a research paper than the practical, 'hold-my- hand' guide to hysterectomy that I was looking for. It would be an excellent resource for any woman who hasn't explored the objective facts about hysterectomy but the author's presentation limits the ability of the reader to personally identify with the surgical experience.
