He is published in many respected medical journals, including Journal of the American Medical Association, Psychiatric Annals, and Psychiatry Magazine. He has given presentations to over 1000 groups of mental health professionals in all 50 states of the United States and seven foreign countries. Rev. Dr. Chrys Parker, J.D., is a chaplain, clergywoman, and trauma therapist specializing in the spiritual and psychological care of PTSD experienced by individuals as the result of combat, critical injuries, or sexual assault. Chaplain Parker is the Executive and Clinical Director of the Burn Recovery and Research Foundation of San Antonio, Texas.
