Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Most kids experience a range of emotions from happiness to anger and lots in between. This very simple board book gives full visual display to each of six emotions. The illustrations have something tactile in each, but how that relates to the emotion depicted is unclear. The illustrations do convey the strong feelings through body posture, facial expressions and color. The collage artwork looks like something that kids might do themselves. A different type of book and one that does nothing to explain why we feel afraid, brave or angry and how to handle these emotions. "A Touch-and-Feel Book of Feelings." 2003, Candlewick, Ages 3 to 6.
