Overview

In this heart-racing 144-page companion novella to the New York Times bestselling I Am Number Four series, discover what happened to Malcolm Goode—the one human on Earth who can help the Garde learn the truth about their past and help them save our planet.

No one has seen Sam Goode's father, Malcolm, since he mysteriously disappeared years ago. Sam had always fantasized that he was abducted by aliens. But that was before he knew the truth: aliens do exist, and some of them seek to destroy our world. That was before he himself became another one of their captives. Now father and son are both missing. . . .

But when a rogue Mogadorian named Adam, who now has Number One's memories, decides the only way to make up for his past atrocities is to return home and infiltrate the Mogadorian stronghold, he'll find the key to saving both Sam and Malcolm's life.

    Nice addition to the series...

This is a nice addition to the building finale in the 'I Am Number Four' series. And you get a little insight into Number 1 in this story too!

    Love this series.

I love these books but wish the author would tell the story the way he has in the first part of the series. The use of colorful language distracts and is unnessesary. It makes me very hesitant to recommend to younger readers who love this kind of story.

WHY CANT HE FINISH THE SERIES

Pitticus lore us a great author and i love his book. But however, he doesntstay focused on the main story. He keeps on writhing about the lost files and stuff but doesnt stay focused on Four's quest. Then again this might tie together in the last book, but i think it is taking too long. It was like waiting for Rick Riordan to write the Son of Neptune, buy instead he goes and rights the Serpents Shadow for different series. Its like that. I love this series and dont think im hateing on it cuz im not. Im jusr saying that the wait is killing me.

    Pay attention.

The lost files books are short stories. They are simply an extension to the legacy storyline only. Read the legacy books first, and you won't sound so ridiculous.

    Love love love!

For those who are wondering who the heck adam is.....you definitley need to read the first Lost Legacies. It includes six and nine's backstories and also the first half of adams story. It will make a lot mpre sense if u go to that first
