    Short but enjoyable

Honestly the only reason I even read the lost files is because they're like little fillers in the time I have to wait for the main books. Learning about five's past really does give me a new outlook on him. I was just really annoyed that it was supposed to come out december 2013 and it didn't really become available until feburary 2014. Overall it was very short... shorter than the last lost files (at least of what I rememer) and I was hoping for it to continue on with his training with the mogs but oh well. I'll take what I can get ya know?

    Really good

I really didn't like number five at all, so I am thankful for this short story giving me a better look at him. It was a very quick read and it lived up to the standards I have for all of the books.

another great book in my favorite series

So glad the author gives us these short books to read while waiting for the next novel. The way you get to see the experiences from different characters points of view is refreshing and adds greatly to the strength of the series. If you read all the others this one helps you see why Five made the choices he did and allows you to think what would you do in his place rather than seeing him strickly as a villian. My ultimate favorite thing about the "I am number four" series ...... it is not a trilogy. The plot, characters, story develop naturally and does not feel like it has to conclude quickly b/c out of pages. I know the story will eventually end but hope there are many more books to come.

    a good read

It is the tradition for Pittacus Lore to follow up the primary book with background information in a secondary book this continues to shed light on the happenings of the remnants of Lorien. This book keeps to this tradition as is an enlightening addition to the series. I would not have missed it.

    Meh

This wasnt a good book. And I just wouldnt reccomend this to anyone. If you want a good story, check out the series Divergent. Along with Insurgent and Illigent.

    Good, but...

It was too short... Almost like the author is just publishing chapters at a time.
