Overview

From the title you have gathered that this is a group anthology. This anthology is a selected collection of poems with no specific topic. There are at present over one thousand and two hundred members in this facebook poetry group, namely ‘I am poetry’, from all corners of the earth and every culture. Our poets are of the best on facebook and the entire planet! In fact, some may not even be from this planet! We have welcomed all English speaking poets to join our group, and experience the warmth of their fellow writers, and you, the reader! This book has a word count of over 16000, and includes relative links belonging to the contributing writers. Numerous images of book covers are present on the last page, for your leisure.

A brief example of the contents:

The introductory poem, namely ‘The Journey’ by Brandon Ryals, is by no means the source of the anthology’s theme, but certainly does get the reader interested. The second poem, namely ‘Hitching a Ride to Oz’ by Shirley A Miller, Gives you the feeling of embarking on a journey. This is in fact what we are doing. We are entering a new Realm, and there is no return! You will read a few poems, and beg for more! You will then read the entire book, completing the journey, and like a child on a playground, you will repeat it several times. Next you will seek the follow-up anthology. Fear not, for there will be numerous anthologies from this group! This is only the beginning!

The final poem in this book is named ‘Pen Drop’, by Kimathi El Shabazz. It is by no means the least, but rather simply put, the exit of this journey. Bernard Harold Curgenven’s pen did drop, once he had added this poem. Compiling this anthology was exhausting!

There is nothing immoral about this content, however there is an age restriction for a reason!

Please, this is not meant for the faint hearted, and mostly consists of fictional tales. Be warned, there is the inclusion ‘tong and cheek’ by Bernard Harold Curgenven. Often writers refer to themselves, so you are not a target to scorn, or any other form of abuse!

I hope to see you run, when being chased by this pun!

Bernard had no choice but to do his month-end shopping, and it happened to be the busiest time of the year. Now, suffers from a phobia, and when crowded, his nervous system comes into play. He lets off winds, driving everyone away. For more detail, read 'My Secret Scent'.

This is probably the best purchase you will ever make, and certainly is great value for your money.
