I'll start by saying that I hated Mark way back when I read If I

I'll start by saying that I hated Mark way back when I read If I Were You. I thought he was too arrogant, too smooth, and too callous. Now though, he has experienced loss, his mother is sick, and he has met his match. While he is still a master, I love that I Belong to You is in his point of view. I am able to get inside his head, understand where he's coming from. It's set in New York, and has Mark dealing with the fallout of both Rebecca and his sick mother. Will his past with Rebecca haunt his family and his future?
I love Crystal, she's awesome for Mark. She knows when to put him in his place, and when to submit to him. Let me tell you, either way, it's hot! She's smart and doesn't take crap from Mark or his mother, or anyone really. She's not intimidated by his past, even if it puts her in danger. I love her strength in dealing with all of this and not letting him go.
It's amazing how Mark is basically the same person we met in If I Were You, a little more broken, and has more desire, but getting this inside look at him has made me fall in love with him. I hope we see more of where he is and how he is in Chris and Sara's novella coming up next! A huge thank you to the author and publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Once both Crystal and Mark let each other inside their own personal hell, can they make it real?

I absolutely love the Inside out series. Chris amd Sara be still my beating heart. I've always had mixed feelings about Mr. Compton. Maybe from the weird vibe Sara felt or by the random moments when he showed his caring side only to seal himself back up lock Fort Knox. Even in my control he always held himself back. If you have these reservations about who the real Mark Compton is you need to read this beautifully written book. It was eye opening. A new side of things. Simply put A MUST READ!!!

4.5 stars-I BELONG TO YOU is the fifth full-length installment i

4.5 stars-I BELONG TO YOU is the fifth full-length installment in Lisa Renee Jones’ adult, contemporary Inside Out erotic romance series. This is Master Mark Compton and business associate Crystal Smith’s storyline.  For cohesion and backstory, the series must be read in order. The history regarding Rebecca and her association with Mark is infinitely detailed in REBECCA’S LOST JOURNALS and her disappearance and subsequent investigation is addressed throughout the entire series.
Told from alternating first person points of view (Mark and Crystal) I BELONG TO YOU is Mark Compton’s continuing storyline. With Rebecca (Mark’s last submissive and assistant) missing and presumed dead at the hands of someone they both know, Mark begins to uncover the who and why of Rebecca’s possible demise. Suspecting that his family and Crystal may become the target of the same psychotic mind that destroyed Rebecca’s life, Mark brings in an outside security team to help investigate the whereabouts of the person(s) he believes responsible. Enter the Walker Brothers and their team of former CIA, FBI and military personnel
The relationship between Mark and Crystal becomes much more than business associates and friends with benefits. From friends to lovers, their attraction to one another is immediate but Crystal is no submissive-inside or outside of the bedroom. She was hired as Mark’s mother Dana’s assistant and she will become like a daughter when Dana’s cancer becomes too much to bare.  Crystal will test Mark’s power and his need to control at every opportunity, and in the end she is the one with the ultimate control of his heart. The sex scenes are erotic, passionate and intense but always consensual and imaginative.
But, if you are looking for some closure as it pertains to Rebecca’s disappearance and probable death, there is none to be had. I have my suspicions about Rebecca’s disappearance –the possible truth about what happened-but sadly, there is no confirmation or body to be found. The final chapter in the series-ALL OF ME (Chris and Sara’s final story) is set to release in 2015-perhaps the mystery surrounding Rebecca’s disappearance will also see a resolution.
Lisa Renee Jones’ INSIDE OUT SERIES began with an idea and storage locker bought at auction. From there, Rebecca’s Lost Journals shaped a series that brought readers into a world of Masters and submissives,  BDSM, missing lovers and accusations of murder and abduction. Mark Compton was an enigma; a man whose cold façade and persona was not very likeable and suspicion fell like raindrops  around a man who mourned the death of someone close but kept at arm’s length.  His story is fraught with betrayal, heartbreak, and an intense need for control. In the end, we discover that there is a passionate and emotional man behind the mask; a man whose own past is mired in loss and controversy but a past that has shaped the direction of his life. I BELONG TO YOU is the culmination of several storylines and novellas wherein the Master will ‘submit’ to the woman that he loves.

Mark just got back to New York.
He wants/needs to be there for his mom, who's going through chemo/radiation.
And he has to take care of the family business.

    Then there's Crystal, of course.
He just can't get her out of his head.
They think they're so wrong for each other, but they are totally drawn to each other.
To make it easier for both of them, Mark tries to scare her away from him by offering her a Dominant-Submissive contract.

But Crystal won't be scared away so easily.
She's not going to sign the contract either. She's not a submissive, she could never be submissiv to a man.
And since Crystal loves his mother and wants to be by her side too, they just have to live with being around each other - a lot. Especially since Mark wants to stay in NYC indefinitely.

But of course they can't stay away from each other for long.
Especially with the danger of Ava still lurking out there somewhere, just waiting for the right time to strike.
Mark has to keep everybody he cares about safe - and that includes Crystal.
He wouldn't survive another person getting hurt or worse because of him.

What will happen to Mark & Crystal?
    Will there be a HEA?
What about the whole Ava/Rebecca mess?
Will everybody die at the end? o.O
Or will there be a horrible Cliffhanger?

I'M NOT TELLING YOU THAT OF COURSE... ¿

    AMAZING BOOK!!!

I BELONG TO YOU was sooo amazing!
I loved every second of it!
The way they both don't really want each other - or at least how they pretend to not want the other ¿
They're so adorable trying to ignore their feelings.....

This was such a sexy book - so full of emotions ... you just want to crawl into it and hug the hell out of them all....

It was so wonderful to see how those two damaged souls fight their way through all the problems of the past and present to get to their HEA.

If you loved the other books in the #InsideOut series, you will definitely love Mark's book too!!!

The big bad Master from IF I WERE YOU etc. has finally found his perfect match.

    Now, there's only one tiny little Novella left - Chris & Sara's wedding...I guess/hope that we'll see Mark & Crystal as wedding-guests ¿
ALL OF ME - coming in February!

I mentioned it before - but can I please have the Inside Out TV Show on my TV tomorrow??? And can it please be a daily thing? Because I want/need to stare at (naked) Chris & Mark all day long!

Awesome transformation of the Master! This is the fifth book in

    Awesome transformation of the Master!

This is the fifth book in the Inside Out Series and should not be read out of series order. This book continues the story of Mark and Crystal begun in the novella The Master Undone which was then continued in the novellas My Hunger and My Control. Though this book can be read as a standalone having read the novellas will enhance the reading.

I’ll admit that I did not like Mark Compton at the beginning of the series but there is so much more to this man than we ever realized. I was intrigued by him from the glimpses of the inner man in the novellas but here all I can say is WOW! We finally learn what drove Mark to become the master of control that he’s been. Ten years ago a horrific event changed the course of his life. Now with the loss of Rebecca and the cracks her love made to his armor and a killer on the loose intent on further harm he struggles for the control that has defined him. Yet there is one place that he finds peace, in the arms of a woman who can never be a submissive, a woman that challenges him at all levels; a woman that sees the man inside, a man no one has seen for a decade. It is time for Mark to face the pains of the past and what they led to in the present. It is time for him to heal. “What we deny owns us. You can’t control what you don’t first own and face. You simply delay the moment it owns you.”

Mark and Crystal were drawn to each other because of difficult circumstances but there is more to it than that. They are kindred spirits. There is a deep connection between two souls who have both known horrors in their life, a shared understanding of pain and a desire to ease that pain. I found Crystal to be highly empathic with a deep wisdom born of her own traumas. Her presence in his life at this time and her words lead the Master to epiphany.

“You’re not going to ask even one of the many questions I know you have?” “No. You don’t need questions. I think . . . I think you need answers that only you can give. We find those answers in our own way that we can live with, or we don’t find them at all.” There’s a flicker of something dark in my mind, a brief flashback that I shove aside before it takes hold of me. Yet another confirmation that the past absolutely owns me, and has for too long.

This reader loves character growth and we see it in both these protagonists. We get both points of view which enabled us to see their inner turmoil and to feel with them. It is not just Mark that finds healing. As she does for him, he does for her. Both their histories are heartbreaking. This is the story of two imperfect individuals that together learn to trust, to be honest in a way they have never been with another, and in so doing find their own perfection. With seductive words that keep you turning the pages, and a captivating storyline wrapped up nicely Lisa Renee Jones finishes the series wonderfully though there will be one more mini-novel to come which this reader is really looking forward to.

I describe this series as awesome romantic suspense that I found mesmerizing. There is lots of sexiness and a storyline that just doesn’t quit with many twists and turns that rivet your attention. And in case anyone is wondering Mark is still and will always be the Master, it is in his blood but there is more to a Master than just control.

Mark Compton is a fascinating man. There is so much complexity

Mark Compton is a fascinating man. There is so much complexity to his character, we could spend hours trying to understand what makes him tick. Having said that, he is a man unraveling. The control and life he has lived for the past 10 years, no longer provide him with the security (real or not) he has experienced until recently.

Discovering Rebecca is dead, he has had to deal with being a suspect, his mother fighting cancer, his business being threatened, as well as discovering all the emotions that are now surfacing after spending so much time denying them. His feelings for Rebecca have surfaced to the top, and there is no denying anymore how deeply he cared for her.

He has met his match in Crystal. What begins as lust and the search for some emotional relief, has now blossomed into a full range of emotions that culminate in his acceptance of the love he feels for her. This is an additional burden. With Ava on the loose and still a threat to anyone Mark loves, Crystal becomes a target in Ava's game of the jilted lover.

The horrors of both Mark's and Crystal's past come crashing forward. Somehow our two lovers must come to terms with the demons that haunt them if their love is to survive. Survival is the word of the day. The tension is palpable as they travel this maze of intrigue and impending death and seek a solution.

Lisa Renee Jones masterful storytelling will entice you and you will not be able to forget these characters. The depth of emotion these two characters portray will grip your heart as you hold your breath in this exciting journey to redemption of Mark and Crystal.

I LOVE MARK COMPTON¿ Who would have thought? Not me that is for

I LOVE MARK COMPTON… Who would have thought? Not me that is for sure! I. love. love. love. The Inside Out Series. If I Were You, books one is where it all starts and if you have not read all the books in this series, then run to the the books store or the internet and grab one up! I have been a Chris Merit fan from the beginning. In fact, I did not think I had it in me to like Mark Compton, even when you saw a little of the softer side of him with Sara, however Lisa Renee Jones has outdone herself! This books gives you the insight you have been begging for on who Mark Compton is and why. What happened in his life to make him the man he was with Rebecca and why he is the way he is today. In this book you get to see a little more of the softer side of Mark, who is with his parents, who he was when he was in college and who is wants to be with Crystal as he struggles to deal with what happened with Rebecca and who is out to ruin not only him, but his family as well. There are twists and turns along the way, but in the end you get the full perspective. There are a lot of questions answered, however it still leaves you wanting more of these people who have become like family. Can't wait to see where All of Me takes us in this next book out in 2.14.15. FANTASTIC read Lisa, Thank you!

This is book was so hard to let go… I did not want Mark Compton’s story to end… I love this character so much.
From the beginning of the ‘Inside out’ series I thought of him to have this ‘thing’ I can not really explain.
Mark was so much more intriguing than Chris to me.
Lisa made sure to do him justice in this book.
I loved the POV’s from Crystal and him mixed in the book. The way they think, feel…. Wow!

We finally get to know more about Rebecca’s dead and why Mark kept her at a distance…

a MUST READ for the ‘Inside out’ readers!
    Do not miss this book!

In Mark's POV, this book gives you even more insight into the man behind the Allure art gallery, the Riptide Foundation and the BDSM club that he established. Although you can pick up from this book and read to the finish, it's best that you read in order and start with Inside Out #1.

When I met Mark in Inside Out #1, I didn't really like him much because I was rooting for a different couple in that book. Go read it and explore for yourself. Treat yourself and immerse in the world that Lisa Renee Jones creates. I opened to the first page of that book and didn't stop until I read everything that was out at the time in the span of 24 hours!

This book, as with the other books in the series, is just as captivating and leaves me with a book hangover for the final book in the series. I felt sad, scared, happy -- a welcome roller coaster -- and finished the book anxious for the next. Unless you can bear the hangover and find other delightful authors to read, you'll find it hard not to read another one of Lisa's series.

What's great about this book is that some loose ends start tying up, and I feel very happy for Mark. (Sorry, that's all I can say for now for a spoiler-free review.)

I received an ARC for an honest review of I Belong To You, Novel 5.0 in the Inside Out Series by Lisa Renee Jones.

I am in awe of her writing style, storytelling capabilities, and how she is able to scare me to death one second, make me laugh the next and cry the next. I would be remiss in not telling you what an excellent novel this is! For those of you waiting for the story behind Mark Compton's character, this is it. You want to know how Mark met Chris Merit? Why he left NYC and his family? His true feelings for his parents, Crystal, Rebecca and Ava? What turned him into a Master? All of your questions will be answered by the end of this book. Your opinion of him may change. Mine did!

I belong to you, Mark and Crystal’s story is just so…so….I can’t really put it into words. But it was amazing! What a ride. Woo!! I followed this series from the very beginning. The suspense was killing me. Every book leads you deeper and deeper into a dark and passionate world. BDSM has never been sexier.
With Ava on the loose and the Walker men (drooling now) taking over in security, Mark is trying to regain his control of his life. A life that somehow unexpectedly includes Crystal Smith. She is invading his thoughts and creeping in his heart. Mark is a strong powerful, dominate man who needs to Master Crystal. But she is also a strong dominate woman and is unwilling to let any man top her. Then again, she hasn’t met anyone like Mark Compton.
Take my word, you NEED to read this one. Because stuff is about to go down!

It comes as no surprise that loyal readers of Lisa Renee Jones can write stories that blow you away. She has that something that lets you know that she loves to write.

I Belong to You is a brilliantly written, steamy, sexy, and thought provoking story that will suck you in and keep you interested until the very end. Emotional and captivating, this book has wonderful characters with real flaws, real strengths, and real passion. Ms. Jones lets her readers experience the journey of her characters right along with them.

My only problem with I Belong to You is that I stayed up all night reading it. This book was raw, edgy, and unpredictable... I couldn't wait to get to the end to find out if Mark and Crystal have their Happily Ever After.

    I loved it!
Mark is still drowning in his guilt over what happened to Rebecca and trying to deal with the fall-out from the scandal and his mom's cancer. Crystal is the only person who can give Mark any measure of peace in his very turbulent world. I loved that they continued to challenge each other! It was great to finally see both of them open up and be more vulnerable.

The ongoing suspense tied to Rebecca follows Mark to New York. I loved having the Walkers involved in this storyline and stepping in to protect Mark in all respects. The relationship that Mark has with his mother is truly heartwarming. I adored seeing a totally different side to Mark compared to the dominant, in control, Master.

I Belong to You focuses more on the growing relationship between Mark and Crystal and how they have to deal with the ongoing investigation into Rebecca. I would have liked more details on how everything started with Rebecca and her disappearance.

I would highly recommend reading this series in order; this should not be read as a standalone.

    So, so...

I liked all the previous books and novellas, but this one just did not reach the mark. Mark starts being an a$$hole, no other way to describe him. Then he decides he is in love and turns all soft and tender. Conveniently, he no longer needs BDSM to get his kicks, except for a scene or two where, out of the blue, he brings the Master back. It was simply too unrealistic. I did not find his character likeable. He is full of remorse for, by his own admission, forcing Rebecca into a life style that she did not want, yet he does not hesitate to push Crystal's limits because even when she is saying "no" loud and clear, he knows she will like it in the end. Let us call this for what is: abuse. The worst part is that the book romanticizes this disturbed man. On top of that, the plot is weak, the suspenseful story bursts into nothing in the end, and it seemed as if the author could not wait to wrap it up fast (which I appreciated because I was tired of the story). I am puzzled by the glowing reviews. This one is not worth the time or the money.

It's going to be difficult to write a review of this amazing boo

It's going to be difficult to write a review of this amazing book free of spoilers because I am so excited about all that happened within its pages, but I'm going to do my very best...

I am beyond pleased with finally being given Crystal's POV! I know many readers of this series were hoping for Rebecca to be alive so she and Mark could reconnect, thus automatically disliking Crystal as a love interest for Mark; however, I was fond of Crystal from the beginning. Admittedly, I was skeptical of her love for Dana (Mark's mother) and her fierce loyalty to Riptide, honestly just wondering if Lisa would pull the rug out from under me with some crazy twist regarding Crystal's motives... I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say I am happy with what I've come to learn of Crystal after reading this book!

The emotional depth with which Lisa writes Mark's struggle from Master to man is nothing short of brilliance. I've always admired her ability to truly build her characters, their stories, while keeping the story line focused.

I Belong to You has solidified my love for Mark. While often dark and stormy, I've always felt a connection to him throughout the series. This book has solidified him at the top of my book boyfriend list. He's real, and you learn the depth of his demons and how they've molded him into the man he is. While I'm on pins and needles to find out if Lisa will grace us with more of Mark and Crystal's story, I am so very happy with Mark's journey up to this point.

I can hardly wait for more of Chris and Sara in All of Me in February! Then it's on to FINALLY find out about Ella in the Careless Whisper series!

    Mark and Crystal’s story!
I loved this book, this is Mark and Crystal’s final story, a lot of questions were answered that we have wanted to know. Just like the other books in this series, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down until I was finished. Mark heads to New York to be by his mother’s side as she battles cancer. He closed Allure and is making his mother and Riptide his main priority. He wants to own Crystal, but she is too strong willed and tells him she will not be owned by anybody but herself. Crystal also feels the attraction to Mark, and can’t seem to get enough of him. They both have issues that they must work out. They must determine if their love for each other is strong enough to overcome these issues, the danger, and Mark’s obsession to be master. I don’t want to give any spoilers but all I can say is you need to read this series! I am ready for the TV show to come on!

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I loved this book! We get to see Mark and Crystal's families through both of their eyes. We get many questions answers regarding Ava, Ricco and other loved (or unloved) characters. I can't read more about Mark and Crystal and their friends Chris and Sara in All of Me coming in February!! A must read!
