My second grade students love this 'fat' book.

I am a reading teacher, and it is my job to get children hooked on books, as well as to help them feel good about the book(s) they are reading. This book offers easy enjoyable stores, that seem to be in chapter form (but they are realy separate stories). The stories are at a low second grade reading level. The best part is the book is 'fat' so it gives the below average reader a feeling that he/she is ready an impressive book. I wish that the publishing companies would put more books together in one cover as they did with this book. Young children are very impressed with themselves when they are able to read a 'fat' or big book.
