Meet the Author

R. J. Davnall has been telling stories all his life, and thus probably shouldn’t be trusted to write his own bio. He holds a PhD in philosophy and teaches at Liverpool University, while living what his mother insists on calling a 'Bohemian lifestyle'. When not writing, he can usually be found playing piano, guitar or World of Warcraft.

Confusing fantasy even when it is being straight. I am up to 3.3 however.

Some parts were confusing at first, but they were understandable when I read a little further to get a better picture of the world Davnall is creating.

I got bored about 30 pages in. All the second sight descriptions were way to much. Not my kind of tale .... especially since this is another one of those short story installment series.
