Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Zipping a zipper, lacing and tying shoes are real challenges for most toddlers. The "I Can Do It!" series of board books attempts to help kids learn how to snap, lace, button and zip. The zipper moves easily and will probably stand up to wear and tear, as will the snap book. The button book is difficult to manipulate, and the lacing book is extremely difficult. Of the series, I Can Zip is the best choice but, taken as a whole, the series is not very instructive or interesting. It is a nice concept, but not the best execution.
