sooo... this book was very interesting on many levels. the characters were all different, but each played a good key role in the story--like im sure many other books are like. its a good love story, for those that are open minded. i liked it mostly because it gave a good glimpse into the life of someone living in Jordan... i loved learning a little bit about the government--thank you Shamim Sarif for including a little bit about the types of societies in the East. though its a short book, its well detailed and gives an air of not only romance, but also wonder... for what the characters are going through. it gives the lasting message of how not to be afraid of being yourself, whatever you feel being yourself is:) i liked it.
