One of the Most Inpirational Self-Help / Management Books of the 20th Century

Before Think and Grow Rich and long before The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People, there was I Dare You. I first read this little book more thab 20 years ago. What sets it apart from Napoleon Hill's classic is that it is nor writtren about successful executives, it is written BY a successful executive. Danforth was CEO of Purina. Many if Covey's ideas are right here, written decades earlier in a far more accessible and absorbsble format!

By I Dare You, Danforth means set written goals and gauge your growth. While devoping personality is patt of his Four Square living this is all about chsracter ethic.

I misplaced my hardbound copiy after giving away a dozen copies over the years. I was glsd to find a Nook edition, but be aware the Nook edition is flawed with typos and the illustrations will be of no use. I am glad I had read the hard copy in the past as I know the shortfalls in the Nook. (I wish more care was taken in creating Nook editions of such classic works. The sloppiness of these Nook editions may lead readers to overlook some great works.)
