Bought this book for my grandson to help him understand thaat 'no' means 'no'. Like most kids his age (5-6) they want to push and push some more until they get the answer they want. You know what I mean. LOL. This book has colorful illustrations and there's some repetition throughout making it even more enjoyable for my grandson; he soon learned where the repetition came in to play and would shout it out before I read it.

What he learns is that a lot of his problems come from him not listening or following directions. This story teaches the important lesson about listening and following directions. I love how it teaches children to be responsible for their actions, own their mistakes and take control of their day. Also I like how the book explains that hearing is not the same as listening. This book also ends with tips for parents and educators.
