I was a little afraid when I bought the book I Love Macaron due to the reviews I have read on the internet. How can a pastry chef not know how hot the oven should be??? I bought it anyway because the pictures were very appealing and I am one of many obsessed people who are struggling in the path of the perfect macaron. I have a toaster oven... so the traditional 140o C was not working for me at all! I was loosing macarons trays and also my hope and then, Mrs. Ogita little book arrived by mail. I read a book from cover to cover so, I was really surprised to read in the preamble that Mrs. Ogita teaches you to do macarons in a simple toaster oven! I am happy to say that 190o C worked like a charm…
