Children's Literature
This picture book recounts what a child and mother do together from morning to night. They invite the child's friend over to their house, and the mother joins them as they play. Children will recognize the activities as the same ones they do each day. Boyd's frog characters are appealing. The turtle pet is a fun touch and steals the show as it participates in several of the activities. The pages of this "Super Sturdy Picture Book" are a heavier stock than usual and are intended to withstand a toddler turning them. There is no storyline here; just a listing of activities.
