I Love ZYX: Italo Disco Collection 4

Overview

Not all of the tracks included throughout the I Love ZYX: Italo Disco Collection series come from Italian vocalists and/or producers. The fourth volume, another triple-disc compilation that boasts over 30 selections, contains one of the more notable examples with "Need Your Passion," produced by Reinhard Frantz and fronted by the likewise Germany-based vocal group Sweet Connection. This is another spotty collection that also features Lee Marrow's "Mr. Fantasy," Silver Pozzoli's "Chica Boom," Mozzart's "Money," Joy Peters' "One Night in Love," and Primadonna's "Angel You." Almost all of the tracks here date from the latter half of the '80s. ~ Andy Kellman
