I Position Me Backtivity Book is a very original activity book for kids. My son and daughter both liked the rhymes and pictures. Back Man and Dottie Goodback were their favorite characters. I think they helped them realize the importance of caring for their backs when they're young. I wish I had something like this when I was growing up... maybe I wouldn't have the back pain I have now. I hope there is more like this coming soon! MW

In todays' busy world, parents need all the help they can get. That's why I am so pleased to find Lisa Habermehl's book about children's back care. "I Position Me" is a wonderful activity book that helps young children understand the importance of caring for their backs. Now I won't have to lecture "please sit up straight" or "don't carry that heavy load", because the cute characters in "I Position Me" make it fun to have good posture.

This book, personalized to the child reader, is designed to be a teaching tool; educating the child with the goal of future back pain prevention. "I Position Me" is a very creative booklet emphasizing correct alignment of the spine while sitting, reading, using the computer and supporting the weight of backpacks used for school. Author Lisa Habermehl (kinesiologist and Mommy) uses activities such as coloring, back exercises, tips, games, puzzles, and even a song to attract youngsters' attentions.
