    Please Pick Another Book!!

This book's approach is all wrong. It lacks awareness of child development, and a positive emphasis. I strongly recomment Parent Effectiveness Training, books by Dr. Sears (who has raised 9 children of his own), and the book Kids Are Worth It.

    completely useless

Choose any other book on the shelf if you are interested in accurate, practical, and useful information. There is a complete lack of knowledge of child development. The premise makes no sense whatsoever. It is not even worth putting in the garage sale pile. I threw the book in the trash.
