I 'read' the story at my library to my two preschool story hour classes, slowly turning the pages to Maurice Sklar's violin solo of Bach's 'Sheep May Safely Graze' (Songs of Zion CD, Integrity Music, 1995.) The children, ages 2 to 4, were rapt during the entire 5+ minutes. The story is tenderly evocative. The reader will sense the movement from happiness to sadness, hope to loss, then a return to even greater joy. Bravo!
