Overview

When she became a blushing bride at the age of 21, national bestselling author, Kendra Norman-Bellamy, had no foresight that by age 28, she would become a weeping widow. But she did. In everyone's life, rain falls. And often times that rain was never in the televised forecast. There was no warning and no time to prepare for the downpour or the resulting flood. Of course, it is not natural rain that is being spoken of. In this case, 'rain' metaphorically represents the tribulations that often blindside and befall even the strongest of Christians. And when the storms come, there are two choices: we can stand up and live or lie down and die. The question is...which will you choose? Inspired by experience, "I Shall Not Die" chronicles the world as seen through Kendra's own eyes during the most painful, yet purpose-driven time of her life. Before you give up, and before you throw in the towel...read this amazing journey of life and love, hardship and hope, and tears and triumph. When you've turned the final page, you will have been given new reasons to persevere. And with a new determnation to LIVE, you, too, can declare, "I shall not die!"

Heartwarming, moving, and staunchly penetrating - a compelling page turner. I Shall Not Die is the revelation of a life of fidelity, unashamedly lived in vast contradiction to contemporary American society. Written with power, passion, and conviction, Kendra Norman-Bellamy has delivered an engaging message of hope that will make you believe without having seen.

For SO many reasons, I love this book! Kendra Norman-Bellamy does NOT look like what she's been through. In my opinion, this is her most powerful work yet! We get to experience some of 'HERstory' that will leave you knowing it's not over until God says so.

Kendra Norman-Bellamy has done it again!! I currently have a friend going through the same situation and I am going to recommend this book to him. Your husband showed me how to lean and depend on God and make any situation the adversary brings my way a testimony of God's goodness. I will forever remember this true-life story when I am going through. Thank you for allowing us into your life to show us how good God is. For we do overcome by the testimonies... Writing is definitely your calling and I can not wait to read more of your books. Continue to allow the Lord to use you to betray life situation and show how the hand of God can move...only if you desire to live for him in deed and not just in word.

I Shall Not Die is a story of love, loss, inspiration and ultimately survival. The author eloquently describes the loss of her first husband and soulmate. You will become drawn into the story and don't be surprised if you complete it in one sitting.

I love to read and have read all of Kendra books. This one I took my time and read it slowly - because 1 it was a true story - 2 because there were a lot of true facts to digest and I want the words to minister to my heart which it did. Kendra I am bless by this book.

This is an awesome book. Mrs. Bellamy did an outstanding job when she wrote "I Shall Not Die: Living a Psalm 118:17 Existence. As I read this book I could see Stand by God's Man being portrayed. She fulfilled her marriage vows to the letter. Her trials and tests came but she overcame them all. Just from reading this book I know Mrs. Bellamy is a strong Christian Woman. Her faith was shaken but she remained steadfast in the Word of God. This is a must read. I highly recommend this book to all newlyweds as well as seasonal married folks. Thanks for sharing Mrs. Bellamy.
