About the Author

Joy Mary Fergusen, age nineteen, found a love for poetry in middle school and has been improving her craft in
the years since. She is Iowa born and raised, but is currently studying to become a teacher in Minnesota.
She enjoys writing, exploring music, painting, pondering, spending time with loved ones, drinking tea, and
