    Great Read

Originally posted at: www.whippedcream2.blogspot.com ***** The Grimm: a group of guardian angels here to protect mankind from the demons of the netherworld. Many are the basis for what the Brothers Grimm later recorded as fictional tales, but they actually lived, if not quite the way they were portrayed. These are not bright and shiny angels, they are darker and trained to do what needs doing in times of crisis. These are not your childhood fairy tales: they are much more fun.

Shiloh Walker has created a dark world where characters from our favorite tales are not quite what they seem. This short story is a bridge of sorts: it is a way for Elle (from No Prince Charming, book two of the Grimm series) to tie up loose ends and say her own goodbye to Ren and have her happy ever after with Michael. But her goodbye is one very hot ménage and worth the brief time it takes to read it. Ren is such a hot hero, but his fate is yet to be determined. Elle and Michael belong together, and this brings closure to all concerned.

If you like your fairy tales a bit dark, the Grimm series is for you, and this snippet of a short story is a great lead in to the next book in the series: Ren's story. But I recommend that you get his along with the book that follows, for a fantastic reading experience.

    more from this reviewer

It seems you have to have read the series to enjoy this short story

This is a short story that comes in the midst of a series of books. I have not read the series, but thought this free short would be a nice way to try out the author and decide if I would like the series. The premise certainly sounded intersting, but it seemed to me that to really understand what was going on between the characters that you had to have read the previous books in the series. Unfortunately, there was nothing about this story that inspired me to even look up the other books in the series. In fact I couldn't even finish this short story.

    good book

Ren was going to be married. He met an old friend name Elle. Micheal and Elle were dating. Micheal and Ren were having sex with Elle now. But now Micheal had slid away out of the room. I enjoyed this novel. ShelleyMA

Between book 2 and book 3

Guess you need to read the first two books to understand what really was going on between the three characters in this story.

    this was an interesting book

interesting....def not what i was expecting in the end, if u haven't read the first books to it...it really doesn't make much of a difference but it would help in understanding why things happened the way it did in the end.
