I thought my soul would rise and fly away

I really felt my soul would fly away during this book.It was so heart-felt while at the same time the Civil War and everything else was happening . I felt like she was my friend and it makes me even happier knowing it was a True Story ! I hope I will get to meet her in heaven one day.
