After reading multiple books on codependancey, relationships and addiction, this one hit home. It is humorus and deals with issues on a more realistic level. I highly recommend this book to any woman who is finally coming to her sences and needs encougement to move on. We all have common sence and know when we should leave a relationship which is what someone with a degree in the area will write. However to truley understand and relate on a personal level, you had to live it yourself. Worth the read

The book is very helpful and funny. Definitely a book to buy if you are dealing with a breakup or just tired of men that don't treat women well.

It got really dark really fast. Although maybe we've thought of these things on and off, several hundred pages of suggestions is a major turn off. I should hope no one is so psycho as to take any of the advice in this book. I was sorely disappointed in my purchase, and didn't even finish reading it because I was so disgusted.

This book has really helping me get over a breakup that I have been depressed about for a while. It's inspiring and makes me feel good about myself. It cant be compared to any other books I have read about breakups. Thanks Alison!

Right on, Alison James! After a terrible, horrible breakup, I flocked to this book, and am SO GLAD I did. I might have spent a ton of money on therapy but I read this book and am a much better person for doing so. If you are considering buying, look no further, just get it. I highly recommend this book, it's a keeper! (p.s. and I'm over the breakup now, a MUCH HAPPIER person - thanks, Alison!)

This book hit home. I just went through a bad breakup and it made me laugh. Not sappy self-help b.s.
