I feel that this book could be a great aid to the families of children struck by the horrors of cancer. It talks about the hope of recovery. Science has come so far, people just don't have to feel that cancer is a death sentence any more. Yes, far too many still die from this awful enemy, but this book is about those who fight the great battle, and win. It's about the family as well as the child. It's about the siblings of the sick child who become forgotten and abandoned children is the quest of the parents to care for their sick child. Most of all it's about hope and recovery and looking forward to life--a long life. A life full of all of the 'normal' things that everyone takes for granted. Yes, it's a book about making sure to live every day to it's fullest, but it's also a book about looking forward to the future. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
