By L.A. - See all my reviewsThis review is from: I Wanted to Write a Song (Kindle Edition)
Through the innocent eyes of a young girl, Carol Kehlmeier tells the story of life in pre-war Ohio during the Great Depression. In this delightful tale told from the heart of a young girl; 9 year old Casey is trying to find her way, and with the influence of her familiar surroundings she tells a story that is warm hearted and lesson-filled. Her sense of fairness and compassion for even the most difficult characters in her life along with her delightful interpretations is nothing less than charming and humorous! This book will give you a feeling of belonging, a sense of self, all the while adding a smile to your soul! So worth the read!
