This is a must read for anyone who is involved in raising awareness for our future generations.

I read this book this morning and enjoyed it very much. A very timely true story and should be read by everyone. I can only imagine the type of torment he felt. Prejudice in any form is just wrong. Be kind and don't bully anyone. It doesn't look good on people. Kindness and compassion are the true way to go.

Thank you to Rich Bateman for putting it out there for the world to see. Hop

Highly Recommended!!! A Must Read for Gay Children & Parents of Gay Children!!!

This book is so captivating! The author does a great job with flow in the book and taking you from learning how loving his parents were, to the main thread of the book, his high school bullying. I believe everyone from DeWitt High School's school board should read this and learn what they are allowing in their redneck high school. I attended one of those rural schools where money decides your "classification," and these people need to wake up! Bateman is correct--this is a huge reason why our nation is dumber now than we were in the 1900's! BUY THE BOOK - SUPPORT THE CAUSE!
