I Wonder Why the Sky Is Blue

I Wonder Why the Sky Is Blue

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Every attempt has been made in this book to simplify the scientific explanation of atmosphere and light and color as they relate to the sky, oceans, and clouds. Each page answers one question such as "Why is the ocean blue?", "How are colors made?", and "When can you see rainbows?" The writing is clear and concise and the layout is attractive with one color photograph per page. Glossary and index are minimal but sufficient. Without adult help, however, this book may raise more questions than it answers so it would seem advisable to recommend this for a classroom collection. The book also sports a hefty price tag for something so limited in scope. 2002, Rosen Publishing Group,
