This book was written for you. Every beautiful word, line, sentence was also for you. And you can see that with every page. No amount of adjectives can describe this book. It is spectacular, brilliant, heartwarming, and not to mention inspiring.
Whether you're a casual reader who flips to random pages in a book, or you read books cover to cover and embrace every word, you'll find something in this book. At least I know that I did.

Amazing book.

I would tell anyone i know to get this book. Its brilliant.

Without much apparent effort, the poems reach out and tug at a memory, an exact moment, twists it inside your heart, makes it fresh anew, and in that open wound you can find solace that yes, this was how I felt, this is how I feel, I may feel this again someday—and it’s okay.

The words linger. They are such that someone comes back to them again and again and when there isn’t anything new, one finds himself looking for more.

Iain’s poetry has something in them that, after you read a piece, you put your hand to your chest and say, “That is what I always wanted to say.”

Momentous photography and minimal words are amazing. An enchanting melancholia - the words speaks so much of honesty and reality, I could almost touch the heartache,the truth in them. Exactly where the lost words are found. Definitely something i'll never get tired of reading over and again. and on an impulse, wherever i may be - just the kind of book i love. <3 I hope it gets to be published here in the philippines. i'd love to get one hard copy of it. <3 Will be looking forward for more from iwtfy.. :)

I have been following iwrotethisforyou.me blog for two years now. I had originally found it while doing research for my Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis.

I guarantee that anyone can read this book and feel an emotional connection to the writing. Jon's beautiful images enhance the experience in a haunting way. I have been waiting for these writing to be released in a tangible form, and now that I can hold it in my hands I really feel how special it is.

The way I like to read it is by turning to random entries a day. Even if I end up rereading an entry it will always hit me a different way depending on how I am feeling at the moment. The words take time to sink in so enjoy the experience!

Haunting and beautiful....

Iain writes the most amazing words. Sometimes they move you, sometimes they dredge up sadness......other times they give you the warm fuzzies.

He is truly a wonderful & heartfelt writer.
