Overview

Part Two Of Two Parts

In ICE BROTHERS Sloan Wilson recreates WW II with the insight of maturity and the perspective of hindsight. A Greenland patrol and the crew of the Coast Guard ice trawler Arluk are microcosm of that war--all wars--in that they transcend time and place.

It is an exciting and lovely novel--one that all who ever served in WW II will recognize as true and that those who have not, will identify with for its essential humanness.

Slightly edited for radio presentation.

The characters were exactly crafted and the stories compelling and at times awe inspiring. Sloan awakens the lesser known and perhaps untold stories of the battles fought on the icy waters of Greenland. Definately a good read!
