I feel that this is truly a breathtaking story that I can pick up and read over and over again. After reading both books, I feel as if I had lost a personal friend with the death of Ida Mae. Ms. Thornton did a remarkable job introducing the reading world to the life of Ida Mae. I especially enjoyed the vivid description of their trip to Paris with all of the beautiful sights and exquisite dishes Ihat were served. I once again cried with the death of her toddler child, as well as her beloved Arbuckle. I was truly drawn into this story and hated the thought that this is the end of the Ida Mae series. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
