Overview

Positioning ideas as the fuel of business success and personal fulfillment, this indispensable resource helps readers find creative fuel by helping them discover insights and develop habits that lead to more and better ideas. Written in a punchy style with easily digestible single-page messages, the book inspires creativity simply through the way it looks and feels, but it is also packed with stories, interviews, quotes, tips, exercises, and real-world examples that show readers how to think outside the box—and then throw away the box. With an emphasis on listening and learning, the book demonstrates the importance of stepping outside of daily ruts and showcases the value of exploration though local and long-distance travel. Additional skills covered include the finding of ideas in nature, learning from one's mistakes, digging beneath the surface, and thinking more positively.

Forget the traveling pants, this is the traveling book

As a graphic designer and educator, I am always looking for new books to help inspire ways to get the best out of my students, myself and my clients. This one is great for those in the creative industry, as well as those outside of it who just want to 'get inspired and live creatively.' I've already had offers from others 'to borrow' it. This one however, is with me for the long haul...it is already starting to get worn from being dragged from school, to office, to home. A definite keeper.

    GREATBOOKSPOTTING

I'm always thumbing through the bookstore shelves for anyone who has something NEW to say about creativity, marketing or management. Finally, IDEASPOTTING is just such a book. Very fresh, very entertaining.

    Stimulating Book!!

Have you ever seen someone else's great idea and asked, 'Why didn't I think of that?' This book demystifies the process of just how that idea becomes a reality.
