If God Was Like Man answers questions many in society have with respect to organized religion, prostitution, human cloning, our environment, fidelity, parenting, suicide, space exploration, the death penalty, and so many other issues. This book serves as a guidepost for reaching a state within where humanity can become one, where 'All is for All' as it states in the book concerning how other advanced civilizations live. I was especially taken by the answer to the question: 'What happens if a person commits suicide?' This book explains this answer in depth, as well as how people 'attract' diseases such as cancer on the unconscious level, and why. This book was written 'for all of humanity' and as such, there are people that are oppressed in other parts of the world, beaten if they do not 'obey' and condemned to death, where in more spiritually open societies this may not apply. Another wonderful part of this book concerns answers regarding the death penalty, and it would be a great eye-opener for those that both believe in and put to death those that they believe must 'die.' All in all I found the range of topics interesting, and the answers to the point, without laboring on with unnecessary prose. There is certainly nothing negative for humanity in this book. It can only help bring answers to those that have not yet found them, although an open mind is a MUST for reading this book. It's excellent! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I read this book from cover to cover two times in a row and am still amazed at the clarity given by God in the messages for 'all of humanity.' The only part I felt myself entirely change my view was regarding the death penalty, which I used to advocate. Since reading this book I no longer do, and the reasons are so simply put, I can't imagine anyone not changing their views. The areas about parenting, suicide, same sex marriages, telepathic communication, abortion, fidelity, human cloning, space exploration, toxins in our foods and environment, all of them and more are profound. I can see where much of the population can definitely benefit from this book. It took me out of the labyrinth of the media maze that covers our news, and gave me a fresh and enlightening perspective that harnesses the true meaning of God's messages. They are abundantly clear. I would give this book at least 100 stars if I could. God really does speak to humanity through Barbara Rose. I listened in on one of her teleconferences and was taken back at what she said. I also love her other book 'Know Yourself' which was life changing for me. 'If God Was Like Man' is life changing for all!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I have had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the most enlightened spiritual teachers of our current time. I have also studied from ancient texts the wisdom shared that many religions and spiritual practices have been built upon. Barbara Rose is Earth¿s new shining gem of a gifted and enlightened messenger. As she channeled If God Was Like Man, we are deeply fortunate once again to be given a new view, and a new path to follow that will lead to our own full personal awakening. This book is a means by which all inner and outer suffering can finally be resolved on all levels of existence, for all who inhabit planet Earth. It is with great respect for the integrity of this work, as well as for its Divine Awakening potential to reach all who read it that I wholeheartedly recommend If God Was Like Man. A remarkable book brought through by an equally remarkable woman. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
