Overview

When a television crew descends on Tarzana, Molly Pink and the rest of her crochet group, the Tarzana Hookers, put up with the inconvenience as best they can—until the residence of one of their own becomes a real-life crime scene…

The television crime show L.A. 911 has taken over Tarzana, making cinematic backdrops out of the town’s most mundane locations, including the yard of Kelly Donahue, the newest member of the Tarzana Hookers.

And at the end of the day, the TV shoot isn’t all that’s wrapped. It seems someone silenced Kelly—permanently—and no one heard a thing. Without any leads, Molly and her pals must stitch together the clues to catch the killer—before someone else dials 911.

Delicious recipes and crochet patterns included!

Im not normally a fiction reader, but after i picked up the first book in this series i was literally hooked! I love a good mystery & this book was no let down. The story is well paced with characters i can relate to. I can invision myself as Molly Pink, the books heroine. The murder senerios are also creative. This book lived up to the ones before it! The only let down was there were no patterns! Every other book in this series includes a crochet pattern or two & at least one receipe. I love to crochet & my love of the craft is what caused me to pick up the first book. I have done some of the patterns & the receipes i tried were so good. If the the book would have had the patterns & receipes i would have given it 5 stars.

I have read all 7 of the Crochet Mystery Series - really enjoyed getting to know the characters - these were easy to read and follow - hoped there would be Series #8

I was looking forward to this book because of being able to try a new pattern & recipe when I finished. The story is the same type of theme as all previous books. While I enjoyed the story, I was very dissapointed to find no recipe or new crochet pattern to try. Therefore, it gets a 3 star rating. I will rent the next one from the library.
