Jen Merrill is a Chicago-based blogger and writer, having recently returned to her Windy City hometown after 14 years in Denver. After years of jamming her twice-exceptional son into various school settings that didn’t quite fit, she’s also a new homeschooling mom who couldn’t be happier. Well, she could, but that would involve a lengthy vacation with umbrella drinks and nightly turn-down service.     A great book for anyone feeling alone in the world of "they

    A great book for anyone feeling alone in the world of "they just don't get it". The combination of honesty and humor balances well together. Jen Merrill does a wonderful job of saying-it-like-it-is and writes what we all wish we could say outloud without getting flogged! Way to go Jen for describing what goes on in our heads, hearts, and behind those closed doors.
